Joseph Thomas Logano was born on the 24th May 1990 in Middletown, Connecticut USA, and is of Italian ancestry. Joey Logano, he is a stock car racer, currently competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity series for the team Penske, but previously for the Joe Gibbs Racing team. His career has been active since 2007.

Joey`s love for cars was first expressed when he was six years old, entering the Quarter Midget racing, and next year, he won the Eastern Grand National Championship in the Jr. Stock Car Division. He continued to line up success after success in his early years, winning Jr. Honda Division Championship and Lt. Mod. Division Championship in 1999.
When he was ten, his family moved to Georgia, and soon after arriving, Joey entered the Bandolero series, and won the Bandolero Bandits Series Championship. Joey continued to record success, taking 14 consecutive wins in the Legend cars series.
He joined Grand National NASCAR division when he was 17, as until 2007, NASCAR didn`t allow racers younger than 16 to enter the competition, and ever since then, he has been a dominant force in the championships. In his first season, he competed in 13 races and he managed to win five of them, including the Greenville-Pickens Speedway, Iowa Speedway, and two wins at New Hampshire International Speedway. Joey entered the NASCAR Nationwide Sprint Cup series in 2008, making his debut on the Dover International Speedway in the 2008 Heluva Good! 200. However, his first victory came two races later, on the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
